Accessing SuiteFiles Outlook Settings

The SuiteFiles Outlook settings are accessed by clicking the Settings icon at the bottom right of the app.

The Save On Send Prompt Setting

By default SuiteFiles Outlook will ask you to save emails that you are sending into the SuiteFiles system. You can disable this at any time when sending an email using the pop-up form.

However, if you have disabled the feature you may wish to turn it back on again. In the SuiteFiles Outlook settings you can turn this feature on and off. This is done by:

  • Clicking the Settings icon,
  • Checking the box to prompt the save on send feature (checking the box enables the feature, unchecking the box disables it),
  • Click the Save Settings button.

The Location That Emails Are Saved On Sending Setting

When choosing to save an email when sending it the default option only allows you to save the email into one of your client folders. Some users may need to save emails to any folder in SuiteFiles and this can be configured in the settings. This is done by:

  • Clicking the Settings icon,
  • Change the drop down setting between Home or Clients. Home allows emails to be saved anywhere in SuiteFiles when sending, Clients allows the user to only save to client folders,
  • Click the Save Settings button.
