Loading SuiteFiles Outlook "Access to path ... is denied"

When installing SuiteFiles Outlook you may get the following error

The resolution for this is:

  • Navigate to the folder in question
  • Right click on the folder and select the Properties option
  • Select the Security tab and the Edit button 
  • Select your user from the list and ensure that Full control is selected 
  • Click the OK button to save the changes
  • Close Outlook and reopen it. SuiteFiles Outlook should load properly.
