Sharing with colleagues

Most often you’ll need to let other staff know when you’ve worked on a document. Sharing with them informs them that a document is available and they need to take an action.

Sharing a file

When a document is shared with a fellow staff member:

  • They are visually informed in the SuiteFiles system
  • They are provided with a link to the original document
  • When finished taking their actions they can click a “Done” action

Note: there are two ways to view files shared with you:

  • In the standard list view, or
  • A graphical view grouping files based on urgency and importance
