Creating a backups account

You can create a SuiteBackups account if you are already a SuiteFiles subscriber (on either the Full Suite, Pro, Semi-Suite or Super Suite subscription plans) or if you're an Office 365 user storing files in SharePoint Online or OneDrive for Business.

NOTE: In order to create a backups account your Office 365 account you're using must have at least one email in its mailbox to validate the account.

SuiteFiles Subscribers

To set up your backup with SuiteBackups you need to do the following:

  1. Go to www.suitebackups.com,
  2. Click the LOGIN menu option,
  3. Enter your Office 365 user name and password and click the Log In button, 
  4. On the GET STARTED form fill in your name and business details, then click the Create Account button (note - this indicates that you have agreed to the terms and conditions for using SuiteBakups), 
  5. You now need to enter payment details. As an existing SuiteFiles subscriber please click the continue with a Partner ID link, 
  6. Enter the partner ID 8015619, allow the system to resolve and click the SAVE PARTNER ID button. This ID differentiates you as a direct customer, rather than a customer who has come through one of our SuiteFiles IT Partners and allows us to add backups to your monthly invoice.

The account has now been created and you're ready to add your site to the backup system.

Office 365 Users

To set up your backup for your files in Office 365 you need to do the following:

  1. Go to www.suitebackups.com,
  2. Click the TRIAL FREE menu option. This will create a 14 day trial of SuiteBackups before you have to start paying,
  3. Enter your Office 365 user name and password and click the Next button,
  4. On the GET STARTED form fill in your name and business details, then click the Create Account button (note - this indicates that you have agreed to the terms and conditions for using SuiteBakups),
  5. You now need to enter payment details. Click on the add a credit card button, this takes you to the eWay payment system,
  6. Enter your credit card details and click the Pay Now button (this processes a $0 transaction to validate your card - please don't close your browser while this happens).
  7. To complete the process properly you MUST click the Return to Merchant button.

The account has now been created and you're ready to add your site to the backup system.
