New SuiteFiles FAQ

Have questions about the New SuiteFiles, now available for early access? We've answered the most frequently asked questions below. 

  1. When will signing be completed?
    We are actively working on the remaining signing features. This new UI lays important groundwork that enables us to deliver those features faster and more reliably. While we cannot share a specific date yet, signing remains a top priority, and progress is ongoing.

  2. Are you going to be releasing a new Outlook add-in?
    Yes, this is currently in development, and we are excited about what it will offer. We do not have a release date to share yet, but we plan to open a beta program first and will let customers know how to get early access when that is ready.

  3. When is SuiteFiles Legacy being deprecated?
    There is no confirmed deprecation date at this time. Legacy will remain available while we continue building out the new experience and ensuring feature parity where it matters most. Once we’ve released all features in the new experience, we’ll still provide plenty of notice before depreciation of the Legacy version. 

  4. I cannot see where to manage user permissions in the new experience. Does this mean everyone can see everything?
    No. Existing folder permissions from SuiteFiles Legacy continue to apply in the new experience. While permission management is not yet available in the new UI, your current access controls are still enforced. We plan to add full permission management later, including individual user permissions. Until then, some actions, such as Delete, are intentionally unavailable in the new version and should continue to be managed in Legacy.

  5. When will Delete be available in the new version?
    We do not have a date to share yet. For now, please continue using SuiteFiles Legacy for delete actions.

  6. I am on a Semi-Suite plan and can't see these updates. When will I receive them?
    We do not have a confirmed rollout date for customers on the Semi-Suite plan yet. If you'd like a free trial of our Super Suite functionality including document signing, Connect client portal, and PDF editing features, please contact our team and we'll be happy to discuss enabling this.

  7. My company has multiple SuiteFiles sites. When will we get access to the new experience?
    We do not have a confirmed rollout date for multi-site environments yet. We appreciate your patience and will share updates as soon as we are ready to expand access.

  8. I tried the new signing feature, but my name appears incorrectly in emails sent to clients. How can I change this?
    At this time, that information cannot be edited directly in SuiteFiles. Please raise a support ticket, and our team will coordinate the update with our engineers.

  9. Can you remove the beta banner? I do not want to use the new version yet.
    If you would prefer not to use the new UI at this stage, simply keep the beta option toggled off for now. If you have further feedback on the beta banner and how it is impacting your use of SuiteFiles please get in touch with our support team
