This guide will help SuiteFiles users get started with SuiteFiles Connect to share connected folders with their clients, request files and share tasks. It's our answer to a client portal, only Suite-er!
Please note: You will need to be on the Super Suite subscription to access SuiteFiles Connect. Our client portal is also only available in the SuiteFiles Web App (browser version of SuiteFiles)
With SuiteFiles Connect, you can:
- Share a connected folder with your client, giving them access to the files within it
- Request files from your clients
- See tasks you’ve asked your clients to do, and what’s been completed
- View what has been uploaded and created by your clients in SuiteFiles
- View a list of portals and their expiry dates

Your clients will be able to:
- Login to SuiteFiles Connect using their Xero credentials, Google credentials or their own Connect account
- See connected folders that you have shared with them
- View all files within those folders
- Create new files and folders through SuiteFiles Connect
- Edit any file within those folders using Microsoft Office Online
- Upload files that you have requested from them
- They'll also be able to see a record of any files you've asked them to sign
